This Peruvian coffee comes from producer Elmer Guevara via the Origin Coffee Lab. Elmer is a 4th generation coffee farmer who oversees small coffee farms near the towns of Viste Alegre and Bombaca in the mountainous region of Jaen.

The goal of the Origin Coffee Lab is to empower farmers to enact lasting change. This starts with incentives for a quality-based approach. They pay premiums well above local market rates, creating a sustainable wage for the farmers.
